The ANFD committee, NSW DPI, Central Tablelands Local Land Services and Sheep Connect NSW are holding an interactive Livestock and Pastures focused field day at the ANFD Borenore site. Central Tablelands Local Land Services will have our team on-site to talk to you about Livestock and turning pastures into profit. Gates open at 9:30am and Farmer Case Studies kick proceedings off in the Trevor Elliot pavillion at 10am. Then you have the opportunity to participate in some workshops starting at 11am.

-Pasture Establishment and maintenance
-Feed assessment - Phil Cranney and Sue Street
-Live Cattle and sheep assessment Brett Littler and Megan Rogers
-Reducing restocking risks and managing foot diseases in sheep - Nigel Gillan, Lucienne Downs and Kate Peffer

Up at the Auswest demonstration plots, Kate Byrne and Helen Burns are talking pasture establishment and maintenance. Phil Cranney and Sue Street will be talking about the implications for feed assessment and budgeting. Down at the sheep and cattle yards, Megan Rogers and Brett Littler will be talking about Cattle and Sheep assessment respectively.
Our experienced district vets, Nigel Gillan, Lucienne Downs and Kate Peffer will be talking about reducing restocking risks and managing foot diseases in sheep.
