Join us and guest speaker Dr Jim Gibbs at the "Feeding in dry times" workshop.
Dr Jim Gibbs from the Lincoln University, NZ is a powerhouse of knowledge on ruminant nutrition in both sheep and cattle. He will present on “Low-cost feeding in dry times for production”.
Local Land Services staff will present on a range of topics on the day and be there to answer all your questions.
Topics on the day include:
-Feeding ewes on the point of lambing
-Feeding lactating ewes
-Early weaning decisions
-Nutrition related metabolic diseases
-Pasture and dual purpose crop considerations
You will be able to chat with District Veterinarians and Land Services Officers in cropping an agronomy on the day to help you access information and prepare during these dry and difficult times.
