As part of AWI's ongoing commitment to increasing productivity gains for Wool producers, AWI has established a Feedbase Advisory Panel to address the perceived barriers to Adoption in the area of Feedbase Investment. AWI's Feedbase Advisory Panel has now held three forums in Esperance, Albury and Broken Hill to view first-hand the challenges that are being faced and identify areas that have potential for AWI investment in Education, Training and Extension in the Feedbase area. The current proposal is for the development of a Feedbase training program that will deliver for wool growers with a Regional focus, in a similar style to that of the current LTEM model. In order for the panel to commence the development of this Program, we are seeking further consultation with Wool Growers across Australia, giving them the opportunity to contribute during this consultation process. Accordingly, we have developed a survey, for distribution via you to members of each state grower network. The Survey, takes approx. 15 minutes to complete closes for comment on 20th October, 2017. Responses received after this date will be reviewed, however the data may not be included in the final report. Your assistance with this vital research is appreciated. Should you have any questions regarding this survey, or wish to discuss any particular Feedbase issues/ comments that you may have, please contact AWI'™s On-farm Feedbase and Eco-credentials, Project Manager- Melissa McAulay via email
