Wether trial results: Understanding differences between the 2014 and 2010 reports

The relative performance of commonly used Merino bloodlines has been updated with the 2014 analysis of 22 wether trials and one ewe productivity trial. This analysis has seen a major reduction in the number of bloodlines that had sufficient data to achieve the accuracy required to be reported on. The 2010 report included results for 145 bloodlines; this has now dropped to 72 in the 2014 report. It is important that the changes between the last two reports be understood.
